Cement Belt Dems – Bill Leiner has created a new Democratic Committee that spans: Whitehall, Coplay, Catasauqua and Northampton Borough. His email is billleiner@aol.com to share with Democrats near him.
Coordinated Campaign and Coalition – The coordinated campaign consists of Wolf, Casey, Fetterman, Wild; each of the house and senate candidates are invited to participate. The strategy of the coordinated campaign is supposed to be a bottom-up focus, rather than top-down. The LVDPC will be helping to direct the coordinated campaign. Coordinated campaign will be focusing on giving us resources; messaging, training, maybe literature, data, etc. The coalition has hired Celeste Dee temporarily until a permanent director can be found. There is already an office that the coordinated campaign is using in the Westgate Mall in Bethlehem. They had their first phone bank for Susan Wild last week. Keep an eye out for events.

State and House Races – I have heard from just about every senate and house race that there is a seriously lack of volunteers for their campaigns. Few people are showing up for events and fundraisers and it’s very hard to get folks to knock on doors. What’s are your thoughts on why this may be happening?
Postcard writing – Tuesdays with Toomey has asked to come in this fall and fill out postcards during one of our meetings, likely in September.
Letters to the Editor – The Pinsley Campaign is looking for people to write letters to the editor in favor of his candidacy. If you are willing to take part in the effort contact Hillary Kleinz
