January 31 | 2023 Annual report due locally in office by 4:00 PM |
January 17 | First day to obtain petition packets |
January 23 | First day to secure signatures for nomination petitions |
February 13 | Last day to file nomination petitions |
February 14 | First day to circulate and file nomination papers, nominating Minor Party/Body candidates |
February 21 | Drawing lots for position on ballot – 10:00 AM Conference Room 43A&B Government Center |
February 28 | Last day to withdraw nominating petitions |
First day to receive Official Absentee or Mail-In Ballot Applications | |
March 12 | Last day for candidates for statewide offices, treasurers of political committees and lobbyists to file pre-primary expense reports in the office of the Secretary of the Commonwealth |
April 8 | Last day an elector may register to vote or make any changes to their voting record to be eligible for the General Primary (must be received in the office, no postmarks will be accepted) by 4pm. |
April 12 | Last day for ALL candidates, treasurers of political committees and lobbyists to file pre-primary expense reports in the office of the Secretary of the Commonwealth and/or the County Board of Elections, as the case may be, locally in office by 4:00 PM |
April 16 | Last day, under certain conditions, to file Applications for Official Absentee or Mail-In Ballot due in the County Board of Elections by 5:00 PM |

May 23 | Last day for ALL candidates, treasurers of political committees and lobbyists to file post-election expense reports in the office of the Secretary of the Commonwealth and/or the County Bard of Elections as the case may be, locally in office by 4:00 PM |

August 8 | Last day for candidates who have filed nomination papers to withdraw |
August 8 | Last day to file objections to nomination papers |

December 5 | Last day for ALL candidates, treasurers of political committees and lobbyists to file post-election expense reports in the office of the Secretary of the Commonwealth and/or the County Board of Elections as the case may be, locally in office by 4:00 PM |
